1. Overview
Driver Theory ("we", "us", "our") provides an online practice platform at drivertheory.online to help users prepare for the Irish Driver Theory Test. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One account per person. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the platform.
- You can delete your account at any time from your Account page.
3. Free and paid plans
- The free tier provides limited access to sample questions and one sample exam per day.
- Pro plans are one-time payments (not subscriptions) and grant access for 60 days from the date of purchase.
- Prices are in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.
- There are no automatic renewals or recurring charges.
4. Payments and refunds
- Payments are processed securely by third-party providers. We do not store your credit card information.
- If you experience a technical issue with your purchase, contact us within 48 hours via our contact form and we'll make it right.
- We offer a free tier so you can try the platform before upgrading. All purchases are otherwise final.
5. Content and accuracy
We provide practice questions to help you prepare for your driver theory test. While we work to keep our content accurate and relevant, this is an independent study tool not affiliated with any official testing bodies, and results are not guaranteed. We recommend using this platform alongside official study materials.
6. Intellectual property
The Driver Theory name, logo, and website design are our property. You may not reproduce or redistribute our branding without permission.
7. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the site or its content.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- Share your Pro account access with others.
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
Driver Theory is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to: exam results, data loss, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
